Our biggest project yet!

Wondering where we’ve been? No, we did not take August off; we were hard at work adjusting to life with our newest family member – Samuel Stanton Chase, born on 08.11.11. The SLP studio is now officially reopened but please be patient if it takes us a little longer to respond to calls and emails. We are still trying to find the balance between little one and letterpress.

Oh baby!

Yes, the rumors are true. We are expecting our first baby this summer!

And while 10 hour days at the Javits Center with a big old belly does sounds appealing, we’ve decided to take a year off from the National Stationery Show to prepare for the little one.

But do not fear, we’re still cranking out plenty of new work here in Boulder. In celebration of the momentous occasion, we proudly announce a new line of greetings cards – PARENTHOOD. We’ll also be introducing plenty of other new goodies in honor of the show so stay tuned!

Collaboration with New Belgium Brewing

We enjoyed working with New Belgium Brewing to create this print that was sent out as part of their Valentine’s Day promotion packet. The card features the New Belgium bicycle logo and starburst printed in tight registration on Crane’s Lettra paper in Ecru White.

Holiday Highlights

We are still decompressing from a very productive 2010 holiday season. Aside from participating in local handmade markets, we also printed a number of custom holiday cards. Here a few of our favorites…

The clean design of this modern New Year’s card for cypher13 Design Studio is accentuated by a red foil stamp, edge painting, and a blind impression grid. Black-on-black printing lends the envelopes a subtle-but-stylish look.

We collaborated with Saffron Design to create these holiday cards for Cindy Crawford Licensing and Crawdaddy Productions. Printed on thick, duplexed red and white felt stock paper, the silver ink adds a festive flair to this classic design.
